Common questions
Does Quick Launcher work on macOS and Windows?
Yes. Quick Launcher works on macOS and Windows. On some Windows systems, it can feel a little less instant because Live handles preset file requests differently there.
Do I need to reorganize my whole preset library?
No. Quick Launcher uses its own folder, so you can copy or save your favorite presets there and keep your existing Live Browser structure as it is.
What preset files can Quick Launcher load?
Quick Launcher can load Ableton Live and Max for Live device presets, Ableton racks, VST3 presets, and Audio Unit presets on macOS. It works with preset files, so you can add the same device multiple times with different settings or configurations.
Do I need Quick Launcher in every Live Set?
Your mapping is saved with the Set, so add Quick Launcher to your default Live Set and it's ready in every new project.
